The following are federal contract awards in excess of $50,000 announced by the US Department of Commerce and the US Department of Defense for companies located in Connecticut during the week of Sept 24, 2001 (States News Service via COMTEX) -- 28.
Airflo Instrument Co., Glastonbury, won a $56,880 contract from the Defense General Supply Center, Richmond, Va., for aneroid barometers.
Barden Corp., Danbury, won a $101,600 contract from the Defense General Supply Center, Richmond, Va., for duplex ball bearings.
