Cephalon, Inc. (Nasdaq: CEPH) today announced results from a 327-patient, multi-center clinical study that indicate PROVIGIL(R) (modafinil) Tablets [C-IV] increased daytime wakefulness in patients suffering from excessive daytime sleepiness (EDS) associated with obstructive sleep apnea.
In this randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, parallel-group study, obstructive sleep apnea patients who use continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) received a once-daily dose of PROVIGIL (200 mg or 400 ...
