A group from Los Angeles will travel to Johannesburg, South Africa on October 18 to make the case that Los Angeles should host the 2006 Gay Games at the annual meeting of the Federation of Gay Games.

The delegation will be headed by James "Shamey" Cramer who founded Los Angeles 2006, Inc. Cramer was co-chair for Team Los Angeles, which competed in the inaugural Gay Games in San Francisco. Jo Ann Worthington, vice president of western region sales for the Los Angeles Convention & Visitors Bureau (LACVB), will also be part of that delegation.
