The tight world of college hockey has been one of the many places permeated by sorrow the past month. This weekend, Clarkson and St. Lawrence, two programs affected by tragedy either directly or indirectly, open their regular seasons in pursuit of whatever normalcy can be found at this time.
The Saints and Golden Knights skate headfirst into emotional wringers. Clarkson plays St. Cloud State Friday in the first round of Maine's Ice Breaker Tournament.
