DEEP EARLY SEASON SNOW IN BANFF/LAKE LOUISE SKI AREAS
BANFF, Alberta, Nov. 21 /PRNewswire/ -- Skiers looking for great snow this coming Thanksgiving holiday should look north to Canada. The Canadian Rocky Mountain ski areas of Lake Louise and Sunshine Village opened Nov. 17 to some of the best snow conditions in many years.
Banff and Lake Louise are located in Banff National Park, Alberta, just west of Calgary, Alberta, site of the XV Olympic Winter Games held in February, 1988.
Current conditions show base snowfall amounts of 40 inches at Sunshine Village at Banff and settled snow of 26 inches at Lake Louise. More than six inches of snow ...
