If Boston wants to become a significant player in the international dance community, it will need to offer its own major dance festival. Montreal's recent "Festival International de Nouvelle Danse" could serve as the perfect example of how to do it right.
We're known internationally for our thriving music scene, so there's no reason Boston's dance community can't attract the same level of attention.
