BURBANK - About 3,500 fans from across the world came to Burbank this weekend to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the television show ``I Love Lucy'' - the smash-hit 1950s sitcom that turned glamorous redhead Lucille Ball into a worldwide comic icon.
This weekend marked the sixth, and final, annual ``Loving Lucy'' Convention. After six years, the celebrations have expended themselves, convention producers said.
But for one last time, fans of all ages were able to enjoy four days of activities including a special screening of long-lost movie footage.
