Stingray City in Grand Cayman's North Sound, referred as the world's best "foot dive," can be the experience of a lifetime. It is here where divers and snorkelers can mingle with Atlantic southern stingrays in the wild.
Fisherman had long used this shallow area to clean their fish and the rays would gather and feed on the scraps. Because the area is so shallow in some spots, islanders would set up volleyball nets and play on the sandbar. The rays, perhaps thinking more snacks were involved, would flutter around the players.
