Dear Sandra: We (24 of us) are traveling to Portugal in February for one week. How do we get to Fatima from Lisbon? What else are the "must sees" in Lisbon? - W.T.C., Mattydale.
Dear W.T.C.: We rented a car when we visited Portugal, but with 24 people that is not practical. The train, www.cp.pt/ , is certainly an option; but consider renting a van with a driver. With only a week, I'd concentrate on the area from Lisbon to the Fatima, using no more than two cities as a base from which to travel.
