Pictured are two yellow beryls from wolodansk, Ukraine, showing the pronounced growth structure on the outer crystal face. Both are fashioned by master gem cutter Fritz Witshaus, of Philipp Becker in Idar-Oberstein. Germany, and were provided by Barbara Westwood of Barbara Westwood Designer Jewelry in Monument, Colo. Barbara's signature "Gemdrop" collection is highlighted by the 18K yellow gold and diamond slide, set with 9 cts. t.w. of diamonds. The interchangeable "Gemdrop" is also 18k yellow gold and features a one-of-a-kind triangular 67.04-ct. yellow beryl. The loose rectangle cut weights 86.87 cts.
