Oct. 16--HOLLYWOOD, Calif.--Officials launched a fund-raising campaign Monday for a new USO center and museum at Los Angeles International Airport that will be named after the most famous troop-pleaser himself: Bob Hope.

Hollywood honorary Mayor Johnny Grant was joined at the Roosevelt Hotel by acclaimed comedian Sid Caesar; Hope's wife, Dolores; their daughter, Linda; and others for a naming ceremony and public call for donations to the planned Bob Hope Hollywood USO at LAX.

"We thank the great Bob Hope for the use of his legendary name," Grant told reporters. ...
