- Brasilca Mining Corp. is pleased to provide further details of a drilling program recently commenced by Teck Cominco Ltd. on Brasilca's Tucuma property, Para State, Brazil. Brasilca's previous exploration program, shows potential for the discovery of a deposit type known as "Iron Oxide-Copper-Gold," or IOCG. The property is situated in the prolific Carajas Mineral Province in north-central Brazil, where several recent discoveries of large IOCG deposits have increased exploration activity by major mining companies.
