PACIFIC UNION BANK (Nasdaq: PUBB), a community bank focusing on the Korean American market, today announced its results for the quarter ended September 30, 2001.

Net income for the three months ended September 30, 2001 was $3.1 million compared with $3.3 million for the same period of 2000. Diluted earnings per share for the third quarter of 2001 was $0.32, as compared with $0.38 for the third quarter of 2000. The 15.8% decrease in EPS was mainly the result of an increase in the number of shares outstanding during the current reporting period.
