The functions, role and management of English Heritage are to be examined and reviewed, Arts Minister Baroness Blackstone announced today.
Tessa Blackstone said: "English Heritage plays a leading role in conserving and ensuring the widest possible access to the nation's historic environment. The proposed reviews will look at the role of the body and provide an opportunity to consider its future direction and responsibilities.
