The Hoover Institution is very fortunate to have four Nobel laureates currently among its fellows. Three Nobel laureate economists provide a very special contribution to the Institution and its work on public policy issues as they have even continued their work.
Gary S. Becker, who was awarded the Nobel Memorial Prize for Economic Sciences in 1992, is recognized for his expertise in human capital, economics of the family, and the economic analysis of crime, discrimination, and population.
