Kenneth Cole: Here's to an informed, involved citizenry, and Kenneth Cole leads the charge in fashion. Just look at his front row: Karenna Gore Schiff, Ron Reagan, Andrew Cuomo and a Baldwin brother. Once again, Cole opened with a humorous message video, this time an anti-gun violence cartoon that lampooned everyone from the Sopranos to Bill Clinton to Lizzie Grubman and Mariah Carey. So what if Cole's preaching to the choir (how many showgoers moonlight as NRA officers?) plays about as seriously as a Miss America contestant's platform? It's well-intentioned and amusing.
