LONDON -- In a quest to turn Asprey & Garrard into a global luxury force, the company has begun building a team -- and it includes Hussein Chalayan and Jade Jagger.
The British firm today will announce creative directors for both its Asprey and Garrard brands, as well as a slew of designers to support them. The appointments include Chalayan as creative director for Asprey's new ready-to-wear line, which will launch in spring 2003. Jagger is creative director of Garrard, with the mandate of turning the label into a major force in modern jewelry and fashion accessories.
Both Chalayan and Jagger have started in their respective positions.
