NEW YORK -- Call it Saks and the City.
Lafco New York, the city-bred, Manhattan-based specialty store and personal care distributor, has signed a deal with Saks Fifth Avenue that will simultaneously launch two initiatives: Santa Maria Novella boutiques and Lafco's first branded fragrance line, the Kimono Collection.
Lafco's relationship with Santa Maria Novella began in September 2000, when Lafco founder and creative director Jon Bresler signed a deal with Santa Maria Novella director Eugenio Alphandery to carry the Italian company's handcrafted soaps, fragrances, facial cremes, potpourris and shampoos.
