CHAMPAIGN, ILL. -- University of Wisconsin junior left tackle Ben Johnson has steadfastly devoted his football career to not getting noticed.
"If my name's never called, it's the greatest day of my life," he said. "I don't care if nobody knows my name, just as long as I'm doing my job."
That's the way it is with most offensive linemen, who normally only get noticed when they fail to do their jobs. Only when the quarterback gets sacked or the running back can't find a hole do fans tend to notice the linemen.
