The failure of the Federal Aviation Administration to act on security recommendations made by the Department of Transportation's rapid response teams and the lack of progress in the U.S. Congress in closing the gaping holes in airline security jeopardizes the lives of cabin crew and passengers, said flight attendants in Atlanta who met today to talk about security issues in the aftermath of September 11.
