THE Pentagon has ruled out enemy fire as a cause of the crash in Pakistan which killed two men in a US Army Blackhawk helicopter backing the first declared US ground operation in neighbouring Afghanistan.
"Hostile fire has been ruled out as a cause of the crash, which remains under investigation," the US Defence Department said in a statement identifying the two Army Rangers who died in Friday's crash.
