With jack-o'-lanterns on the cover and the first four inside pages devoted to everything from a Halloween doormat to terra-cotta pumpkins, the latest Eddie Bauer Home catalog said it all: Decorate for Halloween.
It's a message consumers have been heeding in the last few years. Halloween is currently second only to Christmas as a time to decorate, to deck the halls with black and orange.
Every year there are more Halloween offerings, some as simple as a wider selection of paper plates and napkins from Caspari, or others that go in the "collectibles" category.
We're not talking cardboard skeletons ...
