In the aftermath of the World Trade Center attack, Printing News spoke with Vincent C. Mallardi of the Print Brokerage/Buyers Association (PB/BA), regarding the short- and long-term effects of the Sept. 11 terror on the industry his trade association serves. Mr. Mallardi is the author of "Hot Markets 2001," a directory of the top 2,500 printing buyers in the U.S., ranked by volume and type of printing, and published annually by PB/BA International. According to Mr. Mallardi, most of the data he references are inferred from the size of the business proportional to particular industry segments.
