After using village hall as a temporary home, Hoffman Estates is getting a new branch library.
Part of the Schaumburg Township District Library, the new $3 million branch will be built in a place familiar to Hoffman library patrons: the former library site at 1500 Hassell Road.
The old branch was demolished last month, and in its place a new 9,700-square-foot, state-of-the-art facility will be constructed.
According to Library Board President Bob Lyons, the new library will have a little something for everyone.
