U.S. PAVILION HAPPY WITH PARIS SHOW
PARIS (FNS) -- Stronger selling action than at the past two shows and especially heavy buying from the Mideast at last week's spring-summer 1990 Salon de la Mode Enfantine had most exhibitors smiling, including the 10 American firms participating in the first U.S. Pavilion, organized by the Commerce Department.
Most of the U.S. exhibitors came to the children's wear show to find an agent or distributor for the European market and many left with orders from foreign retailers. Almost all said they plan to come back for the next Salon, set for Feb. 3-6.
