The tagline describes "Mulholland Drive" as "a love story in the city of dreams." The city is Los Angeles, where dreams regularly are dashed as hopefuls try to break into motion pictures.
But this is no ordinary love story since it's a David Lynch film. However, it is partly a story of a young actress hoping to break into movies.
