PHOENIX _ And so the giant man before us did squint his eyes the other day. The moustache rose just a bit, a little tuft of hair beneath his lip quivered for the slightest instant.
Skin crinkled and yes, indeed, that was a smile playing on the face of Randy Johnson.
And that noise, that low guttural grumble, a diesel growl that seemed to come from deep inside his throat, well, that would be a laugh. Yep, no doubt about it, Randy Johnson was laughing on this wonderful October morning in which it was great to be tall and fast and playing in the World Series.
