The peso closed at P52.04 to the US dollar last Friday at the Philippine Dealing System of the Bankers Association of the Philippines. The weighted average rate stands at P52.058.
Caution to mark stock trade
Caution will dominate the Philippine stock market in the coming week in the face of external and internal uncertainty, analysts said Friday. Manny Cruz of Mark Securities Corp. said the market would continue trading "listlessly within a tight range (with) no compelling reason right now for investors to jump into the market despite the attractive prices."
