Halloween in the Fox Valley will feature all of the traditional scary events, but this year a little charity is creeping in.
One example is the Halloween party the Dundee Township Rotary Club will host Sunday for handicapped and terminally ill children.
Rotarian Rich Manarchy expects as many as 175 to 200 kids who normally are not be able to go trick-or-treating to show up. The children come from organizations such as the Easter Seals Jayne Shover Center, Little Angels, Northwest Pediatric Therapy and the Make-a-Wish Foundation.
