When Tony Blair addresses the National Assembly in Cardiff Bay today he will come as a war leader. Hardly surprising, then, that his text will have a distinctly Churchillian ring to it.
Mr Blair, we are told, will tell the Assembly Members that no matter how long the fight, how hard the battle, Britain has the moral fibre to win the battle against Osama bin Laden and his terrorist network.
