NEW YORK STATE ISSUES ORDER APPROVING IROQUOIS PIPELINE
SHELTON, Conn., Dec. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- The New York State Public Service Commission (PSC) has issued a 53-page order confirming its October decision to approve the application of the Iroquois Gas Transmission System to build the proposed Iroquois natural gas pipeline.
The approval confirmed the need for the gas to be transported by the pipeline, and that the 295 miles of the Iroquois line located in New York state, roughly 80 percent of the pipeline's total distance, could be built in an environmentally acceptable manner.
