PROJECT OVERVIEW:

The local VENECO is currently gearing-up to build a new petrochemical complex in Venezuela. And, the US-based TRADE & DEVELOPMENT AGENCY (TDA) recently provided the company with a grant to complete a project feasibility. As a result, VENECO subsequently awarded the technical study contract to PARSONS ENERGY & CHEMICALS GROUP of the US, a subsidiary of PARSONS CORP.

Although the size of the proposed facility has not yet been revealed it is nevertheless known that it would cost about $318,000,000 to build. In any case, the project is aimed at enabling the production of normal paraffins as well as paraffins-linear alkylbenzene (LAB). ...
