The American Foundation for Urologic Disease (AFUD) has presented Senior PGA champion Bruce Devlin with its Presidential Award for his efforts as a public advocate and spokesperson for the organization's "On Course for Bladder Health" campaign. Devlin accepted the award on June 4, 2001, during the AFUD's Annual Benefit and Gala.
Launched during the American Urological Association's 2001 annual meeting, "On Course for Bladder Health" is a national initiative designed to raise awareness about interstitial cystitis (IC) and overactive bladder, two potentially debilitating bladder conditions.
