My first reaction to seeing this book was 'ugh!'. It probably didn't help that it looked, in a semi-abstract sort of way, as if someone had been sick all over the front cover. Someone hadn't, of course, it was just the weird use of colours everywhere... and images of 'being sick' when you see a book on a fairly complex subject for beginners doesn't conjure up the right visions of harmony.
