Richmond, VA-Based Competitor Cites Anticompetitive and Predatory Behavior
RICHMOND, Va., Nov. 1 /PRNewswire/ --
Cavalier Telephone, Virginia's fastest growing and largest competitive local exchange carrier, today filed suit against Verizon in federal court in Richmond. The suit challenges that a broad range of Verizon's conduct towards consumers and competitors is illegal and predatory. In the suit, Cavalier is asking the court to award it $135 million in compensatory damages, plus $500 million in punitive damages, and to order widespread changes in the way Verizon does business.
