2001 NOV 5 - (NewsRx.com & NewsRx.net) -- The Center for Cell Therapy, a business unit of the American Red Cross has announced plans for new services and the appointment of a new program director.

The American Red Cross is expanding the role it plays as the preeminent provider of cell therapy services in the United States and continues to expand its services, partnerships and development of innovative cell therapies.

As part of its growth, the Center for Cell Therapy has appointed Dr. Rita Reik as director for the National Operations for Cell Therapy on October 1, 2001.
