After an up-and-down season, the Greater Libertyville Soccer Association (GLSA) U-11 Black team has started to gel.
Early in the year, the team had few wins but was often one goal away from a victory. Now the tables have turned. The last two games have ended in a tie and a victory.
The U-11 Black team had the previously unbeaten Schaumburg Spirit on the ropes leading 2-1 late in the game. Goals by Matthew Anderson and Victor Williams gave them the lead. Excellent defense by Kurt Kapfer and Nathan Moderwell kept the lead until Schaumburg tied it late ...
