SEATTLE_Stanford entered this season with a nice-looking offensive line. It had an All-Pac-10 second-teamer at left guard, a few returning starters, and a talented, albeit unproven, sophomore at right tackle.
This line figured to be good. But this good?
Ask most of the coaches in the Pac-10, and they'll tell you that not only does the Cardinal have the premier offensive line in the conference but probably the best in the country. The unit has helped Stanford average 39.3 points per game, which ranks fifth in the country.
The Cardinal offense also gains 451.3 yards per contest, 13th-best in the nation.
