RONALD DE BOER last night vowed Rangers would steer a successful course to the latter stages of the UEFA Cup after surviving a madcap minibus chase across Moscow to beat Dynamo.
The Dutch international scored his side's opening goal and created another for Tore Andre Flo in a 4-1 second- leg win. But he revealed that the brakes were nearly put on the Ibrox team's hopes before kick-off, with breakdowns and traffic jams resulting in a white-knuckle ride through the Russian capital's streets.
