In an effort to educate more health care professionals about the diagnosis and treatment of chronic fatigue immune deficiency syndrome, the CFIDS Association of America and the Illinois Area Health Education Centers Program have developed a CFIDS provider education curriculum and are recruiting and training course instructors. The curriculum developed by nationally-recognized CFS experts includes information on taking patient histories, exclusionary testing and making a diagnosis, symptomatic treatment options, and developing treatment plans.
