The wedding party wore camouflage, the groom arrived in a john boat with two hunting dogs, and the bride came by horse and carriage.
Charles "Buck" Sweeney, a partner in the law firm Michael Best & Friedrich and an avid hunter, and bride Sherry Bibro were wed Sept. 29 on a pier overlooking a marsh near Milton.
Bibro's camouflage gown was designed in Tokyo. The clothier also made matching sport coats for Sweeney and his best man. After the ceremony, the couple was honored with a 10-gun salute and the release of six pheasants, which nearly knocked the presiding judge off the pier. The couple repaired to their hunting lodge, where 350 guests awaited.
