NEW YORK -- The conversation was about rats in the Arizona Diamondbacks dugout; big rats.
``A Massachusetts-sized rat,'' Mark Grace said. ``An asteroid-sized rat.''
Now is that any way to talk about manager Bob Brenly and relief pitcher Byung-Hyun Kim? I'm sorry, that would have been about goats. Rodents like this one can be trapped and removed. Brenly and Kim are still around to cause more harm.
What a hard head Brenly has. And what a generous arm Kim has. Between them they have all but wrecked the Diamondbacks. Without them, the World Series already is over and the good citizens of Arizona ...
