MERSEY doctor Sudesh Madan has been struck off for wrongly prescribing controversial slimming pills.
But if you're tempted to regard them as a quick fix, Helen Rigby urges you to think again.
It was when Helen found she needed a slimming pill just to face going to work that she realised she was addicted.
"I needed that buzz. By that time taking the pills had nothing to do with me losing weight D in fact, the weight loss had stopped, but I'd become so used to them I'd become dependent on the feeling that they gave me, " she recalls.
