An emerging trend in the Middle East construction industry is the growth in the size of upcoming projects, coupled with increasing competitiveness among contractors. One firm that is making the most of the opportunities is Lebanon's Arabian Construction Company (ACC).
"The volume of work is becoming bigger and the profit margins tighter. We see a shift towards a situation where probably only major companies will be able to do business profitably. We are experiencing a consolidation in the construction industry, " says Wassim Merhebi, a director of Lebanon's Arabian Construction Company (ACC).
