The Internet Service Providers Association of India (ISPAI) plans to get a management stake (a berth on the board of directors) on Internet exchanges being set up in the country and might make a beginning soon with one of the three proposed exchanges.
Amitabh Singhal, ISPAI secretary, said, "We are actively considering the possibility of management participation in these ventures. At least one of the three promoters whose proposals are lying with us appear to be quite keen on giving ISPAI a berth on the board."
