HARRIS AWARDED $16 MILLION CONTRACT
FOR CANADIAN AIRCRAFT TEST SYSTEM
MELBOURNE, Fla., Dec. 19 /PRNewswire/ -- Harris Corporation (NYSE: HRS) has been awarded a $16 million contract -- with options that can increase the total contract value to more than $50 million -- to supply unique automatic test equipment and software for the Canadian Forces CF-18 aircraft.
Under the contract, Harris will supply the Canadian Forces with Portable Adaptive Test Systems (PATS) to support the complex electronics of the CF-18 fighter aircraft while on deployment. PATS will significantly increase the aircrafts' mission readiness and will reduce ...
