PLAID Cymru is launching its own Housing Bill in the House of Commons today with a swipe at what the party claims is its "carping nationalist opponents."

The party insisted its proposals were not laws to preserve the Welsh language but a way of allowing Welsh speakers to stay in their own communities.

They want to give local people the power to decide how many second and holiday homes they want in an area to keep prices within the grasp of local people.
