Fanaloza, owned by Cisa (Ceramicas Industriales), is starting to produce sanitary bathroom items for high-income customers under the Briggs brand. Its goal is to reach a 30% market share in this segment and for 2002 increase by 10% its domestic sales, based on the US$35mil reached in 2001. Currently, Fanaloza is the only Chilean manufacturer of sanitary bathroom items and has a 75% market share concentrated in middle and lower income consumer products.
