Nov. 4--PAMPA, Texas--Pampa voters will go to the polls Tuesday to decide on the fate of the Pampa Economic Development Corp.
The proposed dissolution of the PEDC was placed on the ballot after a petition in the wake of a proposal by North Carolina-based National Pig Development USA to build a facility about 11 miles east of Pampa in Gray and Wheeler counties that could potentially maintain a rolling herd of about 50,000 hogs.
