Local residents formed Historic Denver Inc. to preserve the city's distinctive architecture and cultural landscapes, tangible reflections of Denver's heritage and the foundation for the city's unique quality of life.
Tonight, Historic Denver celebrates 31 years of preservation success at its annual dinner and awards ceremony, ``Celebrating the City,'' at the historic Brown Palace Hotel.
``This is an opportunity for the community to support Historic Denver and its mission to help preserve and protect our architectural legacy,'' said Historic Denver president Kathleen Brooker.
